How to Clear Out Logs for Exchange server 2013/2016/2019

This article will show you how to clear out logs in Exchange server. Usually, the exchange servers generate a lot of logs. Those logs can quickly fill up your disk space you might need to clear them out. Below we will go through the locations where you safely delete the logs.

  • Go to C:\inetpub\logs\LogFiles

You can delete all logs in both W3SVC1 and W3SVC2 folders

  • Go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Logging\Diagnostics

You can delete all logs from DailyPerformanceLogs and PerformanceLogsToBeProcessed folders

  • Go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Logging\RpcHttp

You can delete all logs from W3SVC1 and W3SVC2

  • Go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Logging\HttpProxy
